When asked who I thought the most inspirational woman was I honestly kept thinking of Ellen Degeneres. She opened up about her homosexuality during the 90’s, a time that no one really discussed same sex relationships amongst celebrities. Her bravery gave not only people but other celebrities the confidence to come out of the closet as well. She is extremely successful to this day and people admire her openness about everything. She has married Portia de Rossi and is very open about her relationship to the press. She is a role model for those who are struggling with their sexuality and gives people the hope that they need to come out of the closet.
